Meet the farmers

Brian Hanford

I was raised spending my summers at my grandparents orchard in Entiat Wa. This time gave me a love for farming, I then engaged with FFA and high school horticulture programs. I spent time in college and then was a operations manager, before returning to Washington to care for my grandmother with dementia. After returning i slowed down and took time caring for my grandparents. This lead me back to gardening and farming, Engaging with people about food. I also found my wife and we bought a house and started a family. That house was the begining of 3H.R. we had miniture horses, american guinea hogs and 1/4 acre market garden. Looking around one day i notice everything was half the size of normal. So Hanford Half-size Happy Ranch was born. Three H's and a R and my grandfather would love it.
